Where can I take the Amateur Radio exam?
Hello everybody.
At this time I know of 2 locations locally that offer the the amateur radio exams.
Amateur radio exams are offered by the Binghamton Amateur Radio Associations. VE sessions are held on the Third Wednesday of every month starting at 6:00pm. The monthly BARA meeting starts an hour later at 7:00 pm. The exams and meetings are held at the Kopernik Observatory & Science Center 698 Underwood Rd, Vestal, NY 13850.
Amateur radio exams are also offered by ARAST at 226 Main St. Owego, NY 13827 by appointment only. Contact info can be found at this ARRL link: ARAST exam sessions.
